Our Programs

COSF THREE KEY PROGRAMS

These programs aim to empower tribal communities, preserve culture, and enhance public health access equitably.

TRIBAL EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVES:

These initiatives prioritize addressing the unique needs of tribal communities, including health disparities, poverty, educational gaps, and social challenges.

Our goal is to deliver specialized services to tribal members through engaging workshops and culturally enriching events.

Additionally, we actively seek and value community feedback through surveys to continually enhance and tailor our services to meet their evolving needs.

CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER PROGRAM

The Cultural Knowledge Transfer Program is designed to safeguard and celebrate tribal heritage while strengthening kinship bonds and community well-being.

Our goal is to conduct in-depth interviews with cultural elders, fluent language speakers, cultural knowledge specialists, and Indigenous healthcare providers. These interviews will serve as invaluable resources to inform our educational initiatives, preserving the depth and wisdom of tribal traditions for generations to come.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION BRIDGE PROGRAM

This program is pivotal in facilitating communication and collaboration between COSF, tribal health programs, external agencies, educational institutions, and state programs.

Our goal for this program is to formalize additional partnerships and contract agreements with external entities during 2023-2024. These partnerships will streamline resource allocation processes, ultimately improving healthcare access for tribal communities.
